Change to Out of Hours Provision

Until now, Tyne Veterinary Clinic and Sheriffs Highway Vets have provided our own out-of-hours service.

We are now pleased to inform you that we will be passing the overnight on-call service to our partners at VetsNow, Gateshead. This service is operated by experienced vets and nurses who will be on-site all night. VetsNow will cover our out-of-hours service from 6pm to 8am on weekdays and, over the weekend, they will cover from 5pm on Saturdays through to 8am on Mondays. This change will come into effect on Monday 6^th January 2025.

Rest assured our systems and services will continue to be available at Tyne Veterinary Clinic and Sheriffs Highway Vets, and there will be no disruption to your pet’s care. Your data will continue to be processed by us and our third-party providers to ensure we maintain the high level of care you and your pet expect.
